miXscope - Snapshot of the Week
A time-lapse movie of mold growing on an english
muffin over a 44 hour period. An image or frame
was captured every fifteen minutes. The microscope
light was cycled off between each frame capture.
The mold had already started growing in the
upper right corner out of the microscope view.
The movie was captured with a Smithsonian
Computer Microscope at 60X magnification.
